Automatic Candle Filter Working Principle

LCF series automatic self-cleaning syrup candle filter is equipped with multiple filter elements in a closed container. The filter element is covered with the special filter cloth. When the filtrate passes through the filter cloth, solid particles will be intercepted by the filter cloth. Using the bridging principle, particles of different sizes will be intercepted step by step to form a filter cake layer that can meet the requirements of filtering accuracy. The filter cake layer formed by the filtrate itself will be used for effective filtering.

After normal filtration for a period of time, when the filter cake layer reaches a certain thickness, a signal is provided to control the feeding (stop), and then the residual liquid in the filter is drained. After that, a signal is provided to control the blowback (compressed air, nitrogen or saturated steam) for blowback to make the filter cake fall off. After a certain time of blowback, the blowback is stopped, a signal is provided to open the filter slag outlet for slag discharge, and the slag outlet is closed after slag discharge, Return to the initial state before filtering and prepare for the next round of filtering.
