Pressure Leaf Filter Efficient Filtering Cycle

 

Pressure leaf filter mainly relies on the pre-coated filtering cake deposited on the filter screen as the filtering layer to filter the slurry. As filtration proceeds, the thickness of the filter cake layer on the filter leave screen increases, and the resistance of the filter cake to the filtrate passing through the pressure leaf filter increases, and the filter resistance in the tank also increases. The filtration cycle is generally 0.5 to 3.5 hours. When the pressure in the tank reaches 0.45MPa, the filter cake thickness can reach 10 to 25mm. Till this, the one filtration cycle is finished and will drain the slurry liquid, blow and dry the filtering cake, vibrate and remove the slag, and then proceed to the next cycle of pressure leaf filter solid liquid filtrations.
