Vertical Pressure Leaf Filter filtration working process as following: The filtering pump pumps the filtrate slurry into the pressure vessel tank through the liquid inlet pipe and fills it up. Under the action of pressure, the solid impurities in the filtrate are intercepted by the pressure leaf filter leave screen on the filtrate, and then as continue a filtering cake is formed on the surface of the filter leave screen, the filtrate passes through the filter screen and enters the outlet pipe through the filter nozzle and flows out of the tank, thereby obtaining clear filtrate.

As the filtration time increases, more and more solid impurities are trapped on the vertical pressure leaf filter leave screen, which causes the thickness of the filter cake to continue to increase. This increases the filter resistance and increases the pressure in the tank. When the pressure rises to a certain value, the slag needs to be discharged, stop inputting the liquid to be filtered into the tank and blow the compressed air into the tank through the overflow pipe, pump the liquid to be filtered in the tank into other containers, and blow dry the filter cake. Turn off the compressed air, open the butterfly valve, start the vibrator, vibrate the filter blades, shake off the filter cake on the pressure leaf filter and discharge it through the slag discharge port at the bottom of the tank.
